System attacks, like the attack on the German Parliament or the attack on Sony movies can have a significant impact on the attacked organisation. However the impact of intrusions, especially regarding affected files is currently mostly unknown or very slow to archive. This applies especially to more dynamic environments like in industry 4.0. For a better understanding of break-ins, attacks could be modelled on an architectural level and provide a worst-case estimation of affected files. This estimation should provide early feedback for system architects on potential risks and security problems.
