Switch of target platform

  • we got some problems with graphical editors related to outdated Sirius editor definitions EDITORS-223 EDITORS-224
  • model code generated with more recent Eclipse versions is not compatible with Oxygen target platform
  • we should switch target platform to Eclipse 2019-06 (to be released by Wednesday)
  • let student execute manual test cases from JIRA
  • fix detected issues in nightly
  • release new PCM version after all tests have been completed successfully

Automated model migration

  • PCM models could be automatically migrated to recent version on loading them
  • dialog should notify users about upgrade and they can decide to save or not to save
  • could be a good task for student
  • Sebastian will talk with Erik, who has already had a student working on this topic sdqinternal:Protokoll 2015-05-13 AbQP
