Minutes

  • Palladio Release 5.2.0 with Java 17 and Eclipse 2022-12
    • There still are repositories that have errors building!
    • Error with JUnit 5 tests, currently no fix. Affected repositories are:
      • Palladio-ReverseEngineering-SoMoX-RuleEngine
      • Palladio-Addons-DataFlowConfidentiality-Analysis
    • Problem in all cases that there is plugin still using JUnit 4
      • This causes a problem with the parameterized test from JUnit 5
      • Not clear which plugin hard-coded use JUnit 4
      • May also be due to Tycho bug?
        • not clear when Tycho 2.x.x update
        • Update to Tycho 3.x.x difficult to implement
      • Hotfix: Either change to old parent POM or roll out @ParameterizedTest
  • Palladio Bench Oomph
      • Can probably be dropped since no one uses it
      • Possible thesis in Stuttgart, with the maintainer of Oomph, can use this later as a case study?
  • Date for Testing day
  • How to go on with MDSD-Tools?
    • There are dependencies both ways between Palladio and MDSD-Tools and vice versa
    • Additional effort because parts are partly maintained duplicated
    • List of maintained projects, which are also used in Palladio
    • Difference to the Palladio POM to the MDSD POM is mainly the branding
  • Co-Locate next ConCall with Retreat?
    • Stuttgarter are not on site, either stream or without Stuttgart
    • Present Robert input metamodel refactoring during next ConCall on retreat?
